Hiya!!

Oh hey guys!

Long time no see!!

I am still on my weight loss quest. I actually managed to lose 50 kilos and was nearly finished but then I got slightly derailed when I broke up with my BF of 5 years, dabbled in online dating (yep, I went there!) and eventually starting a new romance- ie; eating out lots and being naughty!

I am now in a relationship with a really great guy but I managed to put on 15 kilos in 5 months!! So I am back for a little tune up and obviously a girl needs rewards along the way!

I just started a polyvore thing and I literally have no idea what I am doing!!

weightloss rewards

So, my BF, let's call him 'S' and I are both trying to lose weight. I asked him if he was interested in a friendly comp, which he is, and I am going to win just quietly... :) With that confidence I asked him if he cared to make it interesting... haha. I mentioned I wanted the bracelets above (on numerous occasions) and he said he might me one if I win. I decided I want them even if I don't win, so suggested we both just buy each other something when we reach our goal. Yay presents!!

I was then complaining about how many kgs I had to lose (he needs to lose 10) and how I wanted all the Tiffany bracelets and then he said he might get me incentives along the way. I am taking this to mean he will be getting me incentives along the way! Muhahaha. He then asked me how much I weighed (the blasphemy!), I didn't want to say (it was a number I care not to speak of) but he said how would he know when to give me my presents... Hmm fair enough. I spilled the beans and it sucked. haha.

I have been back on my plan for exactly one week today and have lost 4.6 kilos. In total I want to lose 16.9 kilos, so I still have another 12.3 kgs to go, but I am 27.22% of the way there (according to an app).

I got myself that bag last night on the eBay (lol) and decided I really shouldn't have purchased it, as I don't exactly need it, or have oodles of monies and I don't really deserve it (*sniff)... So I decided to gift it to myself as a reward. First it was going to be a reward simply for starting my diet again and surviving one week on plan... But when I weighed in this morning, I figured I am so close to 5 kilos, it can be for that too.

I feel pretty great on my diet- not sluggish, heaps of energy, less bloated, so it's all good!!! The detox at first was pretty awful- I ate a lot of naughty food. S likes to cook and was making me bacon and eggs, pancakes, french toast etc for breakfast and the dinners were pork belly and the like. Pork belly was my fave! haha. I had never had it before I met him.

Oh and another thing, if you follow me from the Vogue forum, I have started getting laser hair removal on my hoo-ha, underarms and chin. I am loving the results so far. My second appointment is coming up in about 2 weeks.

Anyway, that's it from me for now! I hope you are all well!!

♡ Week Five Results

Hey Guys!

Hope you are all fine and dandy. I am pretty good, in case you were wondering! haha.

So, today was my 5 week weigh in.

UNFORTUNATELY my weight loss for the week is sorta ‘left over’ from last week! What do I mean by that? Well, I have weighed the exact same amount for 5 or 6 days straight! Exactly the same! Not 100 gram difference on any day! Quite frustrating!

But anyway, this week I managed 1.4 kilos. Taking my total lost to 10.4 kilos. Pretty good for 5 weeks… and even better for 4 weeks and 1 or 2 days! Haha.

I purchased some cute as pie OTK boots (Over the Knee) on the eBay and I got them yesterday… as they were getting sent I thought hmm I might check the measurements. The seller had given the measurement for the bit that supposedly goes over your knee, I had a sneaking suspicion the thigh bit wouldn't fit, well not at the moment anyway… Eek, no way, not a chance!! I need to lose like 10 something cms there for it fit over my knee (EEEEK) and even then I actually want it to be a little loose. I am still 100% happy with my purchase though! They are everything I want in a boot (OTK, Black, Quilting, Buckles, wedge or flat, round toe, JUICY!)! They retail for US$249 (and $349 at David Jones!) and I got them for $99!! Bargainous!

Juicy OTK Wedge Boots!

I have wanted over the knee boots since I went to Canada, however long ago that was- I just checked, it was February 2010! All the chic ladies were wearing them, and I wanted to be chic too! Haha.

I bought a pair but they finally disintegrated last year (I still have them of course… haha, such a hoarder!). They weren't super expensive… Maybe $50, so they definitely weren't quality material. These new ones are though! Waxy suede- whatever that means! My Mum says it means water should run right off them. Hope so! I never wanted anything that was too high, or a stiletto heel (screams ‘street walker’) but the wedges are really comfy (I squeezed my leg into them to test if the shoe part fit) and I could actually walk in them and they felt very comfortable and supported. I have wide and fat feet so that is a big accomplishment! I couldn't even get the thigh bit over my calves though! Oh Lordy! Anyhoo… These will be perfect come winter. And super cute with my ‘leather-look’ leggings! Dontcha think??

Oh and back to my weigh in… I also take my measurements weekly and I quickly punch the deets into my phone and don’t even think about them. Afterwards, I am supposed to transcribe them into my journal and compare them to the week before. I haven’t done it now for 2 weigh ins! Naughty! I might sit down and do it now. Maybe I've been losing inches, wouldn't that be nice?!

That’s it from me! Speak to you all soon!

♡ Week Four Results

Hey Kittens!

I hope you are all well!

I am totally reneging on my promise not to bombard you with weight loss malarkey .. here I am, fourth post in a row, talkin' about my weight loss venture!

But first of all let me say...
Hallelujah the heat wave in Melbourne is OVER.

I suffered big time. Damn you heat + sweat that equals hot, sweaty rashes! YUCK.

Firstly, and most horrifically, I have a heat rash in a really unfortunate area! (my groin). It is so so SO uncomfy. And as if that wasn't bad enough, on the weekend I used my newly acquired epilator on my underarms. ZOMG. Big mistake!!!

At first everything was fine and I was really happy and impressed with the results, I was even planning to sing its' praises on my wee little blog... Then came the burning. OMG, the burning. Well... 4 days later and I am still burning with the most disgusting rashy welts that are extremely painful. I feel like if maybe I had done it on a 'normal' weekend and not in the midst of a heatwave I would have been okay... but oh my Gosh. The worst!

{side note: I used the epilator on my legs and it's awesome, didn't hurt anywhere near as much as I thought it would}

So, in short, I am a walking rash. A painful walking rash. Ohhh and my thigh chafing has decided to rear its' ugly head. I'll tell you, if this isn't a good reason to NEVER be overweight (severely obese, really), then I don't know what is! Besides the serious health issues as well... hehe. Good Grief!

Anyway, I have been trying to treat my rashes... by keeping the areas dry, but in 37 degree heat. it's pretty hard! Especially when the morning bus drivers don't seem to like turning on the air-con and I am literally saturated before I even get to work!! I read online to keep my underarms moisturised after epilating, which I dutifully adhered to (the internets never lie, derr)... but, um, yeh, I think that's where I went wrong and why I am suffering big time right now. I am now throwing anti chaf powder around like it's confetti.

So, in short. I. AM. UNCOMFORTABLE.

Anyway... enough about me and my heat induced rash and onto my fourth week results.

I will say, these four weeks has gone by really quickly. At the beginning I was really disheartened by how long my journey (Gosh, I hate that word, thank you biggest loser*) was going to be, but it's just gotta be done. I got myself into this mess, so now I have to suffer the consequence- harsh, but true. The diet isn't really suffering per se, but it does have many challenges.

On to the results. I am shocked at my results this week. I was really expecting a crappy week, as I have a) had good losses in the past 3 weeks and b) it is Thomas Time. Surprisingly, I managed to lose 1.9 kilos. That's a grande totale of 9 kilos in 4 weeks (28 days!).

On another note, my Cotton On order came really quickly! Within 2 days actually. I love when online shopping gets to you quickly. Nothing worse than waiting. I LOL'd at Krissy saying the shorts were 'EW' (note the caps). When I looked at them again I was like 'sh!t, are they?!'... When I got them in my hands I came to this conclusion... yes, yes I believe they are! hahaha. The leggings on the other hand are pretty damn good (especially the other pair I didn't actually show on the blog, they are available in store, apparently!).

Another purchase I made was on the eBay (my parents call it 'the eBay')... I got a Juicy Couture tracksuit and an another pair of track pants (2 separate Auctions, same seller). They have 'New York' written on them, which is why I wanted them. When I was in NYC, I stumbled into the Juicy Couture store on 5th Ave, but noticed my sister and brother were completely bored, so I pretended I was finished looking (I so wasn't, I was only in there for 10 mins, max). I was really peeved I didn't get a chance to go back on my own and even more bummed I didn't buy anything when I had the chance. So, these pants were perfect and I plan to fib and say I got them in NYC. They are a New York exclusive afterall. Yay. And they were only $30, double yay! Oh oh and the bestest of best bits... All the pieces are genuine! haha.

I also bought myself a Juicy Couture iPad case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab. Nowhere has CUTE galaxy tab cases! I have a pink one I bought from an Asian store in the city, but it's too bulky and it shows marks easily. The Juicy one is an envelope style carrier in steel grey (and looks black), with a gold turn lock. I haven't received it yet, but it looks fancy!

That's all folks!

(Yay for the cool change!)

What's in my bag! Tale of a bag lady/mobile hoarder

Well hello there!

I hope you are all fine and dandy.

As promised my 'What's in my Bag?' post! Hooray! I just know you have all been dying to see what's in my Bag! haha

That's a lot of stuff to carry day in-  day out

This is the contents of my bag tipped out on my work desk. No holds barred!!

Oh I just realised one thing is missing! My Phone. Of course my phone is usually in my bag!!

Now, let it be known I have significantly lightened my load since I took these 'what's in my bag' pics and I'm pretty much none the wiser. I carry around so much stuff in fear I might need it. I rarely do. I'm just silly.

Doing this post opened my eyes! So many lip glosses... and guess who rarely even bothers applying it???

The details;

❤ Hiding in the pile at the back there are some naughty cigarettes (which I am totes on a mission to QUIT- I don't smoke much so it shouldn't be too hard, I just actually have to commit to doing it),
❤ 2 makeup powders still in their boxes from NYC,
❤ Pink container with cute black bow. Thank you DAISO!
❤ My Debit card- not in my wallet- worst habit ever! Not only can I never find it, but I can barely read the numbers on that baby they've rubbed off so much- luckily I know them off by heart anyway!
❤ Pink glasses case- which hold my prescription sunglasses (I never wear them anyway and I never take my actual glasses off, so I am no longer carrying this around),
❤ Quite a few lip glosses/balms,
❤ My precious sweeteners (hermestas),
❤ My crystal nail file- with pink bling that my Mum got me for Christmas for a startling $2.00!!

❤ More lip glosses and lipsticks,
❤ Makeup brush,
❤ My lighter in its' brown case,
❤ That white circle thing with the red dot is a measuring tape- I have NO idea why it is in my bag!,
❤ A black pen,
❤ That hot pink container in the bottom left is some nail polish remover wipes... they are the BOMB,
❤ Rimmel stay matte powder (in 01 transparent),
❤ A mystery item in a box- in the center of the pic- more on that below,
❤ My "e-cigarette" to help me quit smoking- let's face it, I got it cos it was pink!, it mimics smoking with flavoured steam... Yum
❤ Some coinage that was literally just floating around my bag,
❤ And those two bling things at the bottom sorta-right area are earplug decorations for my phone- I never use them as I use my earphones too much and they just a hassle, oh and my actual earphones intertwined throughout all the stuff too.

Last little section;

❤ More lip prods,
❤ My Juicy Couture wallet,
❤ My keys; Oh and that pink bird not only cute but it's also a whistle- safety first, Ladies! Though I always have trouble getting to my keys in the depths of my bag so I doubt I'd be able to get to it in an emergency situation anyway, but if I ever feel uneasy I usually find my keys and carry them in my hand with one pointed out between my fingers as a weapon of sorts, LOL,
❤ Flash drive memory do-whackers (pink naturally),
❤ Scrunched up receipt,
❤ A business card for a travel agent (I already have itchy feet!),
❤ That plastic black thing in the bottom left is a handy dandy phone stand- I have never used it, but I might some day.

Ooh, the fun stuff! My make up!
Row 1; Rimmel Stay Matte powder, NARS powder foundation in Barcelona, TOO FACED bronzer in Chocolate Soleil
Row 2: MAC lipstick, YSL glossy stain in #18, YSL glossy stain in #17, YSL sheer candy in #8, L'Oreal pink rose balm, Sally Hanson moisturising lip balm, unknown brand but it has cute packaging in a nice peachy shade, MAC viva glam nicki lipglass, L'Oreal golden vanilla balm, L'Oreal nudy pink balm, Clinique Cubby Stick in mighty mimosa
And my Laura Mercier Blending brush

The mystery item in the box:
Anyone know what this says?? I only got it because I adore the packaging. Look, the little character has a cat on her head! Love it!... I assumed it was a lip balm, but I think it might actually be a solid perfume of sorts... It smells very strongly of perfume- too much so for a balm, yet when I put some on my wrist it wears away very quickly!! It's a mystery!!!!

My awesome personalised lighter holder. This was given to me by my nephew's dad (the one who passed away). It went missing for about 6 years... then my sister found it in an old jacket pocket in her wardrobe right after he died. I am really happy to have it back. I really love it. And it's even more special now. My sister was apprehensive to give it back to me- which I understand but um it has my name on it and I have been complaining about losing it for years. years. And she had it all along. Shifty minx! She had one too which surprise surprise she lost even before she 'lost' mine!

My medicine box (Daiso $2.80)! Mostly just Nurofen (I get headaches that turn into migraines) and those BIG tablets are to be added to water for re-hydration. The pink ones are actually for period pain, I got them because they are pink and therefore pretty and I figured pills are pills (pain pills anyway) but hey, I'm no Doctor!!

Behold;

Gastrolyte rehydration tablets!!!

I have used these in their sachet form for headaches, but these tablets are handy as. I took these to NYC and they made the flight home almost pleasurable! I forgot I had them on the way there (too excited) but on the way back I felt very dehydrated and felt a headache coming on. This was a lifesaver and I highly recommend them for air travel!

In other highly related news, I purchased a new bag!!!

It's actually probably the most I have ever spent on a bag! I am pretty darn thrifty and when I saw this bag on eBay I was all over it like a rash.... But I got outbid at the last second- I bid right at the end- and I nearly cried!!! I had pretty much told myself the bag was mine. I was so very disappointed.

I noticed the buyer had only 5 feedbacks, so I messaged the seller saying 'hey... if you have any trouble with the buyer I'd be happy to buy it as a 2nd chance offer'... Well a week or so later, the seller messaged me as the buyer fell through and she offered it to me.

Yay!

I wanted it DESPERATELY. But there was one issue... she assumed I meant not through eBay, but I didn't. I meant a second chance offer through eBay-- but I didn't want to rock the boat and miss out on the bag again so I did my first unlawful eBay purchase and with a bank transfer no less! It was damn scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had been in email conversation with her for almost a week (while the buyer wasn't paying) and felt that she seemed pretty genuine.

It took forever to come! (okay 3 days... but from Syd to Melb, come on! I wanted it next day!)

I only just got it yesterday and truth be told it's a little more roughed up than I expected- some of the hardware shows wear... but all in all, I am pretty happy with it. The leather is super soft and I love me some Juicy Couture!!!

It would have been $348 (US) to buy new and the seller said it was "as new" and I got it for half price (or thereabouts) so I thought it seemed like a good deal... but like I said, she's a bit roughed up *sigh. I am super rough with my bags though, so  I probably would have wrecked it right away anyway, plus it's SOLD OUT! The leather is super soft and it smells delicious  I'm using it today for the first time. Even though it's actually quite small, it holds everything I need. So, yay!

"Couture, Couture" Solid Parfum Ring

Little bit of Christmas cheer for myself...

Actually, I'm not gonna lie, I have spoilt myself rotten this year. I was feeling sorry for myself, so I indulged.

I'll put it this way... It's going to be a Juicy Christmas and a Couture New Year!!
